At IRIS Art Tech the story always comes before the shutter. Every powerful image begins not with the click of a camera but with listening, trust and uncovering what really matters. That is why the work I create, whether a portrait, a campaign or an exhibition, carries more than appearance. It carries identity, memory and connection.
I use photography and Augmented Reality to turn stories into experiences. With AR, a still image can come to life when viewed through a phone or tablet. A portrait can speak in its own voice, a memory can play as sound or video, and what was once a moment frozen in time becomes something you can step back into. It means people do not just see your story, they feel part of it.
Alongside photography, I also work as a creative consultant and creative director, helping brands, institutions and individuals shape their stories from concept through to delivery. I am also open to unusual or unexpected projects that do not fit neatly into categories. These often lead to the most exciting and transformative ideas.
My approach has shaped projects such as The Post Pandemic Exhibition (supported by Innovate UK) and HAIR: Identity in the Afroworld at Ferens Art Gallery, where I also held an artist talk. My work has been featured on BBC News, BBC Look North, BBC Radio Sheffield and in the Hull Daily Mail, and celebrated as part of Hull’s cultural calendar.
